I am working on a Debian (live) spin with Wayfire as desktop environment. It will have no X11. So far it works nicely with the not so new Wayfire package that is in the Debian stable repo. Nvidia works fine as well, though it's not easy to configure it properly.

I wish you luck. Creating a new distro is no easy task.

I will not really be a new distro, just another flavor of a live spin like they already exist with KDE Plasma, LXDE etc. I've created Debian spins before, actually it's not so difficult. I am planning to propose it to the Debian live mailing list if it's finished, so it could be an official spin if they like it, but I kinda doubt that they will accept it.
